This is an Apprenticeship Vacancy. The successful candidate will be employed by the company outlined below and receive on-the-job training from them. Alongside this, they will undertake an Apprenticeship Programme with ACT Training and receive support and guidance from an experienced Assessor, to help them achieve the relevant qualifications. Please refer to the Course Outline at the bottom of this page for an overview of the Apprenticeship Programme.

Apprenticeship Contract Length: 12 months

Hours of Work: 37 hours a week

Salary:  Apprentice wages £4.30 p.h. for first 12 months, NMW thereafter

Company Overview:   WMC Training is a high quality, Government funded training provider specialising in Childcare and Management qualifications. We have helped over three thousand professionals at all levels to achieve Nationally Accredited qualifications, funded by the UK Government.

Key Duties:  

Management and distribution of incoming and outgoing post

Answering incoming calls and directing to the correct department

Making outbound calls to clients where required for various purposes

Responding to Email enquiries or redirecting

Maintain database(s) with accurate information, keeping systems up to date and ensuring all correct processes are followed

Processing and quality checking enrolment paperwork in line with Funding rules (Training Provided)

Sending online documents to clients for signatures and chasing any outstanding enrolment paperwork

Providing a varied and effective administrative support service to the office and assessing team

Assistance with marketing; to include, events, campaigns, website, social media accounts.

Complete compliance audits

Essential (E) /Desirable (D) Requirements:  

GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (E)

ICT skills (E)
