This qualification covers the core range of everyday IT user skills. This qualification is for candidates who require confidence and experience in order to be able to use IT to improve their productivity and efficiency, both in the work place and at home.
An assessor will visit the candidate at their workplace, once a month for a minimum of two hours. In addition to this, they will be set approximately four hours of work to complete before the next meeting. The course covers a range of IT user skills and will give its participants a good foundation level of knowledge across the Microsoft Office package, communication and productivity software. One to one tuition will provide learners with the opportunity to develop skills at their own pace and in a way that is tailored to the skills that they want to develop
