Entry requirements
You will be required to undertake a WEST Initial Assessment to determine your current level prior to enrolment.
To be eligible for the level 2 training you will need to achieve a level 1 at initial assessment stage.
These focus on the practical application of these skills, especially learners’ capacity to transfer their knowledge and understanding between contexts and purposes.
To achieve the Essential Application of Number Skills qualification(s), learners are required to demonstrate their skills through both:
Numeracy skills including manual calculations |

Presenting data, including statistics, area and space |
|
Fractions, decimals and percentages |
|
Probability, time, money and basic conversions |
|
Formula and ratio |
|
