Course Dates

  • 27th  - 30th January - Coleg y Cymoedd Rhondda Campus, Tonypandy
  • 3rd - 7th February  - Cynon Valley Museum, Aberdare

Course Objective

This unit provides knowledge and understanding about an individual’s resilience and strategies for improving resilience. It challenges participants to reflect on their own resilience skills and provides the tools to build and improve them, both in personal life and the workplace.

Course Delivery

This dynamic course gives participants the knowledge to understand what resilience is and how it can impact one’s life.

Self – discovery – self-esteem, confidence, self-awareness

Achieving positivity – mindfulness, gratitude, motivation

Emotional care – stress relief, coping mechanisms, mental health at work

Change – growth mind-set, what’s holding you back?

Conflict – possible scenarios and resolutions

“Probortunities” – turning problems into opportunities

Connections – building positive relationships
