These focus on the practical application of these skills, especially learners’ capacity to transfer their knowledge and understanding between contexts and purposes.
Before embarking on the course, you can attend any of our centres by appointment, to complete an initial assessment to establish your existing skill level completely free of charge and without obligation.
ACT tutors will then work with you to produce an individual learning plan; you will be required to attend sessions at our Head Office in Cardiff.
To achieve the Essential Application of Number Skills qualification(s), learners are required to demonstrate their skills through both:
This course can be taken in either English language or Welsh language versions.
LEVEL 1 and 2 delivery model follows 6 weekly half day skills sessions followed by controlled tasks and end assessment. This is a rolling programme and more dates are added regularly
LEVEL 3 delivery model follows 7 full day sessions (10am to 3.30pm) over 7 weeks, followed by a revision day, 2 days for the controlled tasks and the final assessment.
