Previously the D32 / A1 - The ACWE qualification is aimed at those currently working in an assessment role or wishing to develop into this area. This will lead to a qualified assessor status.
It will give an insight into the role, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to give constructive feedback. This qualification can also help you to progress in teaching / training and support roles in a wide range of organisations.
This course includes:
The course is usually completed within a 4-6 month period.
Delegates will need access to a cohort of learners in a work environment and an occupationally competent counter signatory in order to gather a range of different evidence through assessment. Delegates are required to have existing competence in the vocational area that they will be assessing.
To achieve the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment you will need to achieve both the following units:
Unit 1 Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
Unit 2 Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
