We’re offering our hairdressing learners a brilliant opportunity. In February, seven of our traineeship learners will be jetting off for two weeks in Finland’s capital Helsinki with Erasmus+.
During their visit, they will spend time learning from trade experts at Stadin Ammatitopisto and top salons in the city.
By the end of the trip, participants will be able to demonstrate new technical vocational skills to their peers in ACT centres as well as on placements, thus developing their capability levels in hair types and techniques.
ACT is one of three UK Erasmus+ partners taking part in this project which aims to enrich learners’ experience motivating them to stretch and challenge themselves to gain employment or future promotion opportunities, whilst also enhancing their skill sets.
As well as enhancing their CVs and future job prospects, the trip also aims to increase the learners’ confidence.
All individuals currently on a Hairdressing Traineeship with ACT are eligible for this fantastic opportunity and must apply through their tutor before the deadline on 29th September 2017.
