Careers at ACT

If you are passionate about making the world a better place – we’d love to hear from you!

ACT: a great place to work

At ACT our mission is to make a positive difference to people’s lives by providing excellent learning programmes. We’re great at what we do, but want to be even better. We want to deliver the best possible outcomes for our every one of our learners, and we want ACT to be an absolutely brilliant place to work. We think that’s pretty exciting and rewarding challenge, and we’d love your help in achieving our ambition to be the very best.

We know we’ll only be successful if all of our people are happy and have everything that they need to work to the best of their ability. As such, we’re focused on finding and keeping the most talented people, and investing in them so that they thrive and grow and enjoy their time with us.

We’ve been recognised for our commitment to making this a great place to work.  We’ve achieved the Investors in People Gold accreditation since 2012 and have also been awarded the prestigious Sunday Times Best Companies UK accreditation in 2015, 2014 and 2012. We’re pretty chuffed about these achievements, but we’ll never be satisfied in our quest for excellence – and we’re always looking for new talent and fresh ideas.

Anyway, enough about us and our awards. Find out more about the brilliant people who work at ACT and why you should consider joining the team!

Core values

We like to do things a little differently and our way of working has created a brilliant culture founded on a clear set of core values:

  • Being positive and having a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Taking pride and responsibility in exceeding people’s expectations
  • Helping raise and realise people’s aspirations
  • Having fun in providing a professional, safe and friendly service
  • Showing deep respect for individuals

We’re a diverse bunch of people, but our core values and passion for training and development is what brings us altogether.

We're big believers in rewarding people for the great work that they do. So we offer a competitive salary and a very generous holiday package of 32-36 days annual leave a year. And that’s not all; depending on your role you can also expect to receive a company car, a laptop, a mobile phone, a contributory pension scheme and health care cover.
