It's a dedicated profession. Many consider work in the animal care industry as one of the most fulfilling roles in the land-based sector, offering opportunities from work in large kennels and catteries to training guide dogs for the blind. Work in this industry covers the health, welfare, handling and supervision of small animals. Your duties will depend on your employer and could include assisting in breeding pedigree animals or taking care of exotic animals in pet shops, vets, animal sanctuaries or reptile shops. This course will provide learners with the skills and support they need for the job they want.
