Business Admin
ACT offer a qualification designed for professionals working in an office or reception environment.
The course includes a full framework of both competency and knowledge based qualifications as well as essential Skill Wales in Communication, Application of Number and IT. Learners undertake mandatory training in areas such as workplace communication, managing own performance in business and contributing to work tasks in a business environment and additional units studied can be tailored to meet specific job roles.
The Business Administration qualification can be adapted to suit specific industries and units are available to meet the needs of those in a financial, legal or personnel role. ACT are also are proud to offer a course tailored specifically to meet the needs of non-teaching administration staff in schools. Working closely with the Local Education Authority, ACT has created a curriculum of learning which supports the role of the school administrator.
All learners following an Apprenticeship programme attend monthly workshops. These are usually held at our state of the art offices in central Cardiff and offer the opportunity for learners to share best practice with other industry professionals. The workshops allow time for completion of the core qualifications but also offer opportunities for training in areas such as time management, dealing with change and contributing to project developments.
